In my first year at University, Linden Homes approached my course with an exciting project - to redesign one of their show homes in Waterlooville. The brief was to create two different show home schemes inspired by an artist that included our own fabric and textile designs. I created two separate schemes design based on the artwork of Japanese Artist Katsushika Hokusai and British floral installation artist Rebecca Louise Law. Both botanical and Japanese art were trending at the time. I was one of five students chosen to present one of my designs to Linden Homes as part of a contest and was a runner up for the prize.
